A person with COVID-19 attended three Les Mills Takapuna gym classes on Wed 9 and Thurs 10 September.
The person with COVID-19 was at the gym at the following times -
If you are concerned because you have been at the gym, or in these classes at these times, Public Health advice is provided below.
Family members, work colleagues or friends do not need to be concerned if they have been near people who are now considered close or casual contacts. They are contacts of contacts and are at higher risk only if the close or casual contact develops COVID-19. If there are further cases, Public Health will be in touch with any new close contacts and will provide advice and support.

Please get tested as there is a very small risk of having being exposed to the virus at the gym. You do not need to self-isolate, but watch for symptoms. If you become unwell, ring Healthline on 0800 3855453 and self-isolate. |
If you become unwell and test positive, Public Health will provide advice for you and for your household (and other contacts). |
People who live with Close Contacts |
If the Close Contact does not have symptoms – You do not need to be tested or to self –isolate. However, as with everyone in Auckland, you should ring Healthline on 0800 3855453, self isolate and get tested if you develop COVID-19 symptoms

If the Close Contact does have symptoms – You will need to self-isolate until the Close Contact has had 3 negative test results. You should have a test as well. If the Close Contact is confirmed as a case, then Public Health will provide you with advice on self-isolation and testing. |
People who live with Casual Contacts |
If the Casual Contact does not have symptoms – You do not need to be tested or to self –isolate. However, as with everyone in Auckland, if you develop COVID-19 symptoms - you should ring Healthline on 0800 3855453, self isolate and get tested
