Auckland Regional Public Health Service (ARPHS) is asking people who visited Animates Manukau on Saturday 21 November between 1:20 pm and 2:11 pm to get tested and to stay in self isolation until they receive a negative test result, after a case currently under investigation visited the store.
ARPHS is continuing to identify places where the air crew member now under investigation for COVID-19 may have visited prior to departing on their flight to Shanghai.
There were also brief visits to a number of other businesses and shops on 20 and 21 November, but these are considered to be very low risk to members of the public. This includes a petrol station, two Auckland supermarkets and a pharmacy within a supermarket.
Staff members in these stores at these times are being advised to watch for symptoms and to isolate at home and get tested if they develop them. Resene staff are being asked to be tested and stay in self-isolation until they receive a negative test result.
Members of the public in these locations at these times are considered to be at very low risk, but should follow usual public health advice and get tested and isolate if they develop symptoms.

Anyone who was at these locations who develops symptoms should ring Healthline on 0800 358 5453 or their GP, and say they are a casual contact.
The symptoms of COVID-19 are a new or worsening cough, sore throat, runny nose, loss of sense of smell, difficulty breathing or fever.
A spokesperson from ARPHS says it is still completing its investigation and may add other locations where the case has been.
